Welcome to our very first St. John the Baptist Catholic School Read-a-Thon! To offset tuition costs, our school relies on fundraising efforts throughout the year. Read-a-Thon is a pledge-based fundraiser that focuses on our students READING, rather than selling products.
To kick-off Read-a-Thon, we’re hosting a used book sale – September 6 – September 8. We’re allowing students the opportunity to trade in an old book (or two) from home for one from the sale.
During Read-a-Thon, students will track their time spent reading to win raffle prizes and raise funds for our school. Time spent reading by parents/guardians/volunteers to your child counts as well.
Raising money for our school is an important part of Read-a-Thon. Please ask your family and friends to pledge money for the minutes your child spends reading.
We’ve included a calendar in your packet to keep track of important Read-a-Thon dates, in addition to other important materials. You may print additional copies of Read-a-Thon forms from the website: stjohnthebaptistfundraiser.com/important-documents.
